Nickerson's Thoughts Thing #6

So I checked out a few of the sites that were on the Education 2.0 awards list, and there was one there that I use all the time at work. Pandora is such a great site because I can put in the type of music I want to play and the site will play any music or bands that might have the same style of music. When I have my own classroom I can see how this might be of help to students, I had a teacher in High School who used to play symphony music during days we would have a test or a study day, and it would help with concentration.

    I adore Pandora! My husband got me hooked on it after Yahoo!'s launchcast customized radio was removed. If I am at home, Pandora is running on my computer. I can not live without music. I will definitely have it playing at all times in my classroom!

    I use Pandora on a regular basis. Studying and just working around the house I turn on Pandora and I have set up several playlists to listen to. Great website!

    I have recently learned this month that you are only allowed 40 hours of free music per month. After the 40 hours is over you can pay 99 cents for the rest of the month and that is all that they will charge you. I think that is fair as much as I use the site.
